INTRODUCTION

The Six Sigma is one of the successful tools adopted by Japan and other developed nations when applied to Indian Organization have given good results.

Six Sigma is nothing but a compilation of world-best tried and tested management techniques used for bringing business / process improvements. With changing dynamics and growing demand to achieve excellence, reduce waste, decrease defects and enhance productivity, organizations worldwide seek professionals who understand the strategic objectives of businesses, critical requirements of day-to-day business and operational goals.

Six Sigma is a management methodology that uses a structured approach which has helped organizations world over to reduce cycle times, increase productivity and improve quality and delivery of processes. Six Sigma helps a professional approach a problem (or “defect”) in a data driven, structured & systematic manner that ensures success.

This course gives an introduction to the concepts and methods that lie behind six sigma. The strong emphasis on intensive training will provide the advantages of internalizing benefits and retaining the gains. The course will focus on cost benefits through structured and directed projects.

  • Six Sigma Methodologies: DMAIC, DMADV and tools as under like-
  • A) 7 QC Tools
    B) MSA
    C) SPC
    D) FMEA etc.

    Learning Methodology

    The learning involves following steps :

  • Lectures
  • Self study
  • Assignments
  • Implementing a real-life project (optional)
  • The interactive games/ exercises are included to facilitate learning.
  • Examination will be conducted at the end of the whole program & successful candidates will be issued the certificates. Passing criterion: 70% score in both Assignment and exam
  • CERTIFICATE

    Participants qualifying written examination shall be awarded certificate of successful completion of the course.
