9000 series of standards. These standards which are generic in nature, are applicable equally to various types of organisations – both manufacturing and service such as small, medium and large scale industries, and manufacturing & service organisations.

OBJECTIVES
This training course has been designed to equip delegates with the skill to develop, maintain & assess the conformance to Quality Management System based on ISO 9001:2015 specifications. The training course includes both knowledge base solution (understanding the concept) & skill/application based sessions. At the end of the Program the delegate will
- Describe the purpose of a quality management system & explain the eight principles of quality management.
- Explain the purpose, content & interrelationship of ISO 9000, ISO 9001, ISO 9004 & ISO 19011.
- Interpret requirements of ISO 9001 in the context of audit.
- Describe the roles & responsibilities of auditors & lead auditors.
- Plan & conduct an audit in accordance with ISO 19011.
- Report the audit, including writing valid, factual& value adding non conformity reports.
- Understand audit follow-up activities, including evaluating the effectiveness of corrective action.
The course schedule includes highly interactive engagement exercises/ presentations to enhance the learning skills throughout the duration of the course. The total course time devoted to direct instruction & assign team & individual activities shall be at least 40 hours.
